Woman’s Will

Scenes from four modern plays I directed with Woman's Will.
All performers were non-AEA at the time of performance.

Scenes are:

Lord of the Flies (1:43)—This show was performed in the round (with some moments behind the audience), and you are seeing the least populated corner of the audience. The second and third scenes are nighttime scenes performed in extreme low-light and shot in night-vision.

Mac Wellman’s Antigone (:49)—a devilishly weird avant garde dance-theater piece

Good Person of Szechuan (2:23)—my adaptation of the Brecht play, which toured public parks. This adaptation (with original music by Rona Siddiqui) is available for use by other companies.

Happy End  (1:54)—WINNER, “Ten Best Shows of 2005” Oakland Tribune Brecht/Weill’s snappy and silly gangster musical, performed in local bars.
